Drawings & Clay

I draw. I paint. Sometimes I make things out of clay. I've been doing this for a long time, although never quite in a straight line. There is no particular commercial purpose here. No client brief, no KPI, no presentation deck. I like making things slowly — and I keep changing my mind. A painting can still be getting reworked ten years on; a piece of clay, shaped by hand, left for time to slowly oxidise and turn it yellow. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. That's part of it.

Outside of this, I work in marketing

Twenty years of it, mostly helping brands cross between Europe and China.
